Stroll Through Springtime
7:00am-11:00am
Watch Tower Lodge(1800 46th Ave, Rock Island). The Citizens to Preserve Black Hawk Park Foundation is proud to present the 47th Annual Stroll through springtime! Join us for any or all the morning’s FREE activities. All ages welcome.
· 7:00am-9:00am Birds: Join expert leaders by the Black Hawk Statue and set out to locate both resident and migratory birds. Bring your own binoculars or borrow ours!
· 9:00am Refreshments in the lodge (including wild violet jelly) followed by a short program at 9:30am.
· 10:00am Wildflowers: Observe and identify many native species of wildflowers in the Nature Preserve.
